I woke up yesterday feeling a little bilious, kind of like I'd had too much to eat the day before and it was sitting heavy in my stomach. But I didn't feel really bad; I had breakfast, lunch and dinner. Then around 7pm, I started feeling a little yucky with a headache, by 9pm quite bad, and throwing up by 10pm. It reminds me a lot of last year's WisCon Ick. Fred was sick three days ago, Justin was sick two days ago, and now me. Nobody else, so far.

I'm supposed to start the new job tomorrow. I don't feel too horrible today, just kinda headachy and tired. For some reason, the grapefruit on the counter looked really good this morning, and it was accepted (and tasted so good that I know I need to eat more citrus.)

But I don't want to spread the joy to the folks at the new job. Anybody remember how this thing spreads, and at what point during the infection?

Oh my gosh. I just heard on the radio today that Salmonella was spreading like mad through Michigan, but they haven't figured out the source yet. Our housemates got sick during the holidays too with something similar. Hell, even me and my friend Christy got very briefly and quickly sick. Wasn't severe at all, surprisingly.

Definitely something going Salmonella-ish going around.
