Cohodas Essay Contest

Last month, I entered my essay Color Blind to the The Lois and Willard Cohodas Literary Prize*, and I just got this is my mailbox: I am writing to congratulate you on your 2nd-place prizewinning essay. Very cool. I get to go to an award banquet and everything.

Any suggestions of where I could market something like this?






*The Lois and Willard Cohodas Literary Prize is a prose non-fiction essay contest, open to all undergraduate students. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three essays. All submissions will be reviewed and evaluated by NMU professors, at least one of whom will be from the English Department.

Essays must focus on one or more of the following societal issues:

-enhance religious, racial and cultural understanding, harmony and respect

-eliminate hatred and racism

-promote holocaust awareness
