I just got this in my mailbox:
Congratulations! I'm writing to let you know that you are one of THREE finalists for the VandeZande Fiction Prize.
I sent them When Big Betty and the Circus Came to Random, Wisconsin. I wonder if the award will make it easier to sell? I wonder if the Cohodas Prize will make the department disinclined to give me the VandeZande? Very cool any way I look at it, though.
