baby needs a new pair of shoes!

We still have our little visitor, Aiden, the five year brother of new-born Tristan. The boys' mom is doing fine and she and her boyfriend will be picking up Aiden in a couple of days.

Tristan came in at about 4lbs (1.8 K) almost 5 lbs (2.25 K) and he needs everything. So I'm inviting everyone to an online baby shower. Right here, right now! Sorry, no nibbles -- there, take a sip of tea or coffee.

When I picked up Aiden, we stopped before we got to the hospital and got a couple of preemie outfits. When mom got the gift, she said something like, "Yay, now he has some clothes."

Vanessa, Tristan and Aiden's mom, has a dad who lives across the country whom she hasn't seen a years, and a brother. Vanessa's mom died in a car accident about ten years ago. I really don't know much about her life - her mom was a friend of a friend - but I know that she struggles financially.

So if you have the time and money to help out, message me. When I say Tristan needs everything, I mean it. Gently used baby clothes would be fine or money in a card. Message me for the mailing address.

According to the internet, Tristan should double his weight in about 8-12 weeks, which would then put him in newborn sizes. So, early summer clothes in newborn, late summer in 0-3 mos., and then warmer 3-12 mos sizes.
