Dear Diary,

ljgeofftoday I got up at 5:45 am, took a shower and got dressed for work. Then I got all of Luke's stuff together (change of clothes, snowpants and jacket, boots, hat and mittens) and got his backpack packed (folder and shoes). At 6:30 I carried Luke down to the couch, and told Carl that everything was ready, and to watch the time. A 15 min drive to Marquette, and I clocked in right at 7 am.
I'm the clerk at a gas station/convenience store. Work went as it pretty much always does; the customers were mostly friendly, my boss, Russ, is laid-back, it was kinda boring, but pretty stress-free.
After work, I picked up Luke from my Mom's and we headed home. I was tired and achy, and I laid down for about an hour. I was going to make Spanish Rice for supper, but the hamburger had gone bad, so I went to the store and picked up some pork steaks. We ate at around 6pm.
There was an informal science chat at The Coffee Cup in Marquette, and Laura, Ruby and I went. Mark was the host. I wish it had been longer. It finished up at 8pm, and we were home by 8:30. Oops, back to the store for some sandwich makings and cereal for tomorrow. Then I made sandwiches, (Ruby, Lucas, Laura, me, the kids, in the kitchen, all talking/laughing/teasing) and talked to Len in the shop and admired his work, and now it's 10:45, and time for bed. I work tomorrow, again, 7am-3pm. But the boys have the day off, so I just have to get myself ready.
So, well, on a good day, this is my life. It's very (first I wrote 'normal', and then I wrote 'easy')...nope, I don't know what it is....
