I dont know why I own these particular books

I have books scattered at random -- upstairs, downstairs, at the Big Ol' Negaunee house, even books from the 70s at my parents house.

I can see why you own a bunch of those particular books. Why, are you just thinking out loud, or are you looking to triage more possessions?

It's more like, "Why have I kept *these* books" -- but honestly I do know. Mostly it's stuff I've most recently read, and if they are parts of a series, I have the rest of it somewhere. I would like to get rid of a few that were only meh. But only a few.

What I do wonder a little about is if it's ethical to keep books that I will probably never reread. At this point, I figure that they might be amusing for grandchildren's grandchildren. If they can make sense of them.
