ljgeoffMy period is a few days late. It'll probably start up tonight or tomorrow or the next day. I hate being irregular; I've always been right at 28 days. In the last year, it's been as early as 19 and as late as 35. Bleh. Of course, there's the chance that I'm pregnant, and I can't help thinking about that. But at my age (45), the chances are pretty slim (though not zero).
I would love to be pregnant. That makes absolutely no sense, but it's true. I dreamt about having a new baby last night. It's got to be a hormonal thing; babies are such work, and I have three children at home now, which is enough work already. I'll probably start my period tonight, or maybe tomorrow. But, damn, I feel pregnant. Then the blood will come, and I'll feel regret and relief all rolled together. Aarg, I hate this.
