five good things

lissamc reminded me of the importance of saluting good things

* When Mike went to Germany with his Guard unit in February, he brought me home a huge box of Eilles chocolate. I've been enjoying it slowly, more specifically, I had about two ounces of sweet 37% "Madagaskar" for breakfast this morning.

* Snow day! We got about six inches, I think. I have absolutely nothing that I have to do today.

* Reading my flist today made me happy - beautiful Ogres, literary nominations, pink unicorns and blowing up jetplanes. I am a lucky woman.

* My beautiful cat, Peanut, is pressed up against me, purring.

* Sam must have got Luke breakfast. It's very quiet; no one is after me for anything. So quiet that I'm getting bored.... And I have the whole day!

I miss snow days, living here in Phoenix where we don't get the stuff. Not necessarily the snow (though that too), but that lovely feeling that all is well in the world, for nature has given you a surprise gift of a day off. :) Enjoy!
