- Yesterday, while I was at the shop, a local cop came by and said that my big Chessie, Nahvi, got out of the house and bit someone - well, jumped on them and nipped them, didn't break the skin, but still. We talked for about ten minutes. This particular cop is one that I like, and he seems to be okay with me, too. We had talked the last time the dog had bit someone, and I'd told him then that I wanted to give her some more time for training. So this was the last straw, and I surrendered her to the Humane Society.
At the Humane Society, I kept crying and then I was mad because I was crying. I think it's just that I was so tired. Well, and I was sad and frustrated, and it was hard because she was so scared.
- The shop did very well yesterday, above break even. At the beginning of the month, I did something that I haven't told anyone because it was very stupid but now I think it's gonna be okay: I used part of my tuition money to pay the rent. It was just $300, and I've got $200 of it back so far. I'm sure I'll get the rest next week.
I'm still struggling with closing the shop. But there really doesn't look like there's any way to keep it open.
