sicker than I thought
Mar. 25th, 2009 04:36 pmIt seems that the chest cold I had has morphed into pneumonia. Actually, I just diagnosed myself, so take that with a grain of salt. I haven't had this for a while. I'm trying to decide what to do. My mom is a nurse and might have some antibiotics on hand.
symptoms:
chest cold
fever
tightness in chest
wheezing and crackling with breath
exhaustion
lightheaded
The exhaustion started yesterday, and the fever started today. Right now it's around 101.4. Which reminds me, I need to take some tylenol, stupid.
Unfortunatley, I'm at my work, with my little old people. I just realized the severity of my condition when I 1) dropped a quart of OJ on the kitchen floor and 2) almost passed out cleaning it up. That's when the red flag went up and I took my temp (102). If I do have pneumonia, I'd guess that I have the bacterial kind, which isn't contageous unless you're swapping body fluids. So cover all the coughs, wash hands a lot and no kissing. Bleh, I really, really wish I could get out of here, but there's no way. Damn.
